Mindfulness training is a clinical psychology research technique that has been widely used in cognitive, self-regulation, mood, anxiety, stress, and various other forms of intervention. A general trend in mindfulness training is emerging – one with greater emphasis on the influence of awareness training, with nonjudgmental observation of the ongoing stream of internal and external stimuli as they arise. Previous studies indicate that students are under a considerable amount of various external pressures both at home and in schools.
