Introduction
I am considering the company I work for Lockheed Martin to develop a modified strategic plan that will focus on responding to the United States government’s and Department of Defense’s (DoD) new “Network Centric” initiatives. Lockheed Martin 's Corp. is a publicly traded private corporation that provides high technology products and services to the United States government, DoD, and other international governments. Lockheed Martin is the largest defense contractor in the US with a branding statement “Our brand means quality” and a company slogan of “We never forget who we work for”. Lockheed Martin supplies equipment and services to almost every branch of the United States government, from fingerprint recognition systems for the FBI, satellites and launch services to all branches of the DOD, NASA, NSA and computer systems for air traffic control to the FAA, road traffic signal control systems in most large cities across the United States and even population census counting systems. These are the current Lockheed Martin Corporation 's:

Value Statements: Do What 's Right: We are committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct in all that we do. Respect Others: We recognize that our success as an enterprise depends on the talent, skills and expertise of our people and our ability to function as a tightly integrated team. We appreciate our diversity and believe that respect - for our colleagues, customers, partners, and all those with whom we interact - is an essential element of all positive and productive business
