They disappeared when they took off from a resort in Los Roques. After months of search it was reported that their plane was found in the Caribbean Sea, north of Los Roques Archipelago. Their bodies were found with their seatbelts on, until this day the cause of the accident is still unknown. Vittorio was 58 years old when he disappeared, his father Ottavio died before they could find the plane. The Missoni Home collection has its roots in furnishing fabrics produced in 1981 in collaboration with Rosita's family firm.[1] They launched their first perfume in 1982,[1] although that product has nothing to do with the license now held by Estée Lauder.

The writer sketches missilin as innocent, loyal, selfless and loving character which evokes the sympathy of the readers when they come across the subtly exploitation of her by Mrs. Ranasingha.Mrs. Ranasingha prevents missilin’s visit to her village on the New Year by stating that she couldn’t get out of bed because of sickness. Yet on the same day Mrs.ranasinhha goes dinner to her sister’s home leaving missilin alone “yet she recovers enough to attend the new year dinner at her sister’s place’’. This quote shows how she treats in this hypocritical society. Missilin never retaliate towards Mrs. Ranasingha to let her go home.
