Mitchell School Accomplishments
Attending Paul Mitchell The School is a magnificent and life-changing event. Ever since I was young I always enjoyed doing my friends and family, hair and makeup, as I have grown the passion and enjoyment of doing other peoples hair and makeup never went away.I believe and hope attending the Paul Mitchell School will ultimately give me the experience, knowledge, and proficiency to kick-start my career. While also expanding my zest for cosmetology.
The most significant accomplishment in my life so far is being able to empower others.Getting to see people react to the help I can give them or even giving them a simple smile.I love the delight of being able to help someone feel beautiful about themselves whether it is showing them a new makeup

But most notably, this previous October I was given the privilege to be able to help the Nicaraguan people through a Springfield mission's program named Project HOPE. Through them we built housing, fed the truly neediest of their people, and played and cared for a lot of the little children as well as a large group of orphans. All around we tried to show these people the love of Christ, Christianity being a very important part of my life. The trip really gave me a love for the people there who are in some of the most unfortunate of circumstances and I'd very soon like to go back. A large part of the definition of what the word success means to me, is to be able to help organizations like Project HOPE and actually make a positive difference in the world both financially and in physical…

An accomplishment that I am very proud of and believe is a strong example of my dedication is the following. When I was twelve I trained for and completed a half marathon. I finished with a time of 1:42 and won the eighteen and under age group. My training for this race included running, biking, and weightlifting. Every night, many times by myself and other times with my mother, I would go out and run or workout. I remember going out Christmas Eve for interval training and then rushing home to make sure I did not miss the Christmas Eve service. The next year I completed another half marathon in 1:32 averaging a 7:09 mile pace. Last year I traveled to Florida to run the Disney Half Marathon and completed it in 1:22 averaging a 6:18 mile. Through hard work and dedication I got 45th out of over 22,000 runners in Disney.…
