TITLE: “Adopt a Playground”
INTRODUCTION

This semester the students are required to adopt a playground in Lutong area and either rebuild or restore it to be a better and safer playground. In this project, the students can demonstrate their knowledge and understanding they have gained in the classroom. Furthermore, this project also helps to promote both intellectual and civic engagement by applying the knowledge to deal with the challenges in the real world.
The objectives of the assessment
At the end of this project, students should be able to:
1. Take control of their own learning experiences
2. Interact with people on different levels
3. Analyze and apply and acquire knowledge
4. Provide them with appropriate information and experience to face the real world
5. Develop their team building skills and their imagination
6. Know how to raise funds for their project
PROJECT COMPONENT

The research components of this project will entail the action plan on how the students will complete the project, fundraising activities and individual report writing, which is expected to help students gain a hands-on experience and a good understanding on how they are able to assist the community and how the society functions as a whole.

Each group is going to develop an action plan and execute the plan to raise funds for this purpose.
