Today in America “multiculturalism” is becoming popular in education, economy, and employment. While some accept multiculturalism in our community and the other hand they’re opposing in multiculturalism. In Hasia Diner essay, “Some problems with ‘Multiculturalism’: or, ‘The Best Laid Plan,” argues about multiculturalism very odd topic which some people do know what is “multiculturalism” in reality. In one hand, I agree that multiculturalism is being taught in schools and universities; on the other hand, I still have issues with the fact that intolerance among education and equal distribution. Although Diner provides ample evidence that, “ Intolerance does not necessarily grow just out of a lack of information, but it reflect a social and economic climate.” (304) She brings up economic climate its affecting this intolerance in multiculturalism because its true, poor people live different and have way different education than wealthy people who have better opportunity to have an Phd.
