How does the Muslim Ban affect America? The forty-fifth president Donald Trump called for an executive order to permit people from the top seven Muslim countries from entering the United States of America. The ban also revolves the visas of the people over here in the U.S permitting them from leaving or entering. The Muslim ban is unconstitutional, but It doesn’t only effect Muslim countries but America also. The Muslim ban effects science, allows discrimination and deters from the vision of the American Dream. Science have played a major role today’s society when comes to finding cures or inventing vaccines to prevent certain diseases or even conducting research for future cures. This ban affects our students and graduates of Muslim descend.

But is everyone guarantee that dream? Are we giving people in other countries false hope? The Muslim ban was to eliminate the threat terrorism not to deny a race of people freedom from the same thing we are afraid of. Many universities are appalled by this ban. Simon Frasier University released a statement, “[The ban] has generated fear and anxiety on the part of many members of our community, and has implications that are real and disturbing”. (Rey). President Trump has portrayed false views to get the American people to agree with his standpoints. Of 82 people “who died in the pursuit of or were convicted of any terrorism-related federal offense” since March 2011, that report said, more than half were U.S.-born citizens. and just two were from Iraq. The president said Tuesday night that the “vast majority” of people convicted for terrorism-related offenses since 9/11 came here from outside the United States. (Zapotosky). The American dream was made because of the immigrants who came over and worked hard, their hard work led a nation. Why should we take anyone’s` right or privilege based upon their faith? The ban on Muslims cause many effects on the united states such as science, allows us to discriminate because of one`s faith and sell fake dreams such as our American dream.
