MY AIM IN LIFE
AUTOMOBILE ENGINEER
Categories of automobile:-

Introduction:-
Automobile engineers design, test, develop and manufacture automotive products such as heavy and light vehicles. They help the automotive industry to meet new challenges, for example, making sure that vehicles are safe, environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient. They work not just on cars and commercial vehicles but also buses, coaches, tanks and racing cars.
WORK ACTIVITIES:-
Designing and developing a vehicle involves a very wide range of engineering knowledge. For example, automobile engineers use their knowledge of mechanical engineering , combustion, vehicle structures and aerodynamics . They also need knowledge of computers and electronic and electrical systems, which are all becoming increasingly sophisticated in modern vehicles. For example, some cars now have computer-controlled engine systems and digital display dashboards.
Some automobile engineers specialise in design (they may be known as design engineers). The average motor vehicle has around 10,000 individual parts and each must be designed, developed and manufactured. Design engineers need to take into account factors such as the strength, safety, efficiency, appearance and cost of parts. Many design engineers use computer-aided design (CAD) technology in their work, allowing them to create and change designs much more quickly than in the days of drawing boards. After design, they need to turn plans into prototypes

1. Luxury Cars - This is a traditional class of cars most people recognize. Luxury cars have been available as long as cars have been around. These cars offer more comfortable surroundings and options than standard cars and are usually larger than other vehicles. Usually luxury cars fall in brand-specific categories, meaning they are manufactured under nameplates that deal exclusively in this class of vehicles. Examples of luxury cars include most cars built by Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Cadillac

In order to use CAD effectively as a design tool, the designer must have the skills necessary to create, edit, and manipulate a 3D model of a part in order to create a realistic representation of an imagined object. In this activity you will build on the CAD skills that you learned in Activity 5.2b Introduction to CAD Skills. You will learn about and use additional tools and features available in most CAD programs and apply your new CAD skills to the creation of more complex parts that will be used in later activities (as components in the assembly of parts) to create complete products (including a complete Automoblox vehicle and a Button Maker machine).…

Many engineers develop new products. During the process, they consider several factors. For example, in developing an industrial robot, engineers specify the functional requirements precisely; design and test the robot 's components; integrate the components to produce the final design; and evaluate the design 's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. This process applies to the development of many different products, such as chemicals, computers, power plants, helicopters, and toys.…

To first process the data, an engineer would use analytical software in order find trends in the results. Computer Aided Design software, or CAD software, are programs used universally by engineers to implement specific materials and aesthetics into a creation. Finally, simulation software will allow the engineer to observe how the product will behave in different environments. This is the last step of the scientific method, determining whether or not an engineer must revise the product or continue in development.…
