In my opinion being a tutor is more than helping a busy college student complete a homework assignment or studying for an upcoming exam. You can offer much more to someone struggling when you have experienced what they are going through. Many college students hold part-time jobs, take several credits, and get very few hours of sleep which leave them stressed and overwhelmed.
