My Experience With Disrespect In Rocky Mountain
The teacher is taking time out of their day to teach us skills we need to learn and grow. They are helping us become the people we need or want to be. The time and thought, the heartache and headache they put into teaching is incredible...and how do we treat them….with disrespect. Throughout the years I have seen how much disrespect the teachers get from students and from other teachers. It is hard to believe how rude people can be.
In a school such as Rocky Mountain I have seen and heard a lot of disrespectful remarks. I have heard talking back and yelling at the teachers. I have seen students not doing work when asked multiple times to sit and just work. I was shocked to hear teachers speaking disrespectfully about their co-workers. During class students talk over the teacher and text while he/she is presenting the lesson.

Parents are trusting the teachers with their children. All the teachers want from the students is for them to listen. Some teachers are not being as strict as they could be. I have personally seen a teacher have a blow-up moment when a student was asked multiple times to do their work but didn’t listen. Then again, the one time the teacher blew up, I thought it was necessary. The student was texting in class, taking pictures of students to post on snapchat, talking over top the teacher and other inappropriate behavior. This behavior went on for weeks and when the teacher had a mini-blow up it appeared to be

In schools there are many factors that come to play when determining how and what you are learning. Parental involvement helps because it motivates a child to take their work seriously to keep them on their toes, but it is not necessary. Students could go through school by themselves with their own motivation; they believe they could work hard, they believe they will succeed, they believe in the future that lies ahead of them, they believe in themselves, so they will do whatever they can to achieve that, but this is not always the case for every student. Students get or learn the attitude of success and the will of working hard from the atmosphere around them, whether it be constantly positive or constantly negative. Teachers play a big role in a student’s education because that is their job: to teach students, to get them an education.…

That let the students know to receive respected you must show it as well. It is unprofessional for a teacher to gossip in the classroom. My reason for saying that it is unprofessional is because of the teachers or showing the kids how to talk about one another. They are supposed to be showing the kids how to interact with one another and care for each other. Their job is to encourage the kids to have a positive attitude towards people instead of negative.…

The article opens with a case study on a seventh grader named Jason. Jason is considered low achieving and performs below grade level. Mr. Monroe does not want to bore the high achieving students during class but also does not want to leave anyone behind. One day he is using the smartboard to explain simplifying fractions. Because they consider this a waste of time, the high achieving students talk amongst themselves and distract the students that are paying attention as the low achieving students complain about the complexity of the material. Mr. Monroe warns them to stop talking and to pay attention but this only makes the situation worse. Jason states aloud that all teachers suck. After being threatened with an office referral Jason says that he would rather be there than in the classroom. This is a classic example of nonviolent misbehavior. The article outlines three key elements to remember when dealing with classroom misconduct: behavior is predictable, behavior is preventable, and preventing problem behavior requires attention to instruction.…

When asked, teachers would say the reason they are distracted by students texting in class, is because as they are looking at their group of students trying to lecture, they can catch the rapid movement of thumbs across a phones keyboard from the corner of their eye, and this distracts their attention from teaching and to that student. That very student on the other hand can say that this text is for a very important cause such as going out to his boss letting him know that he will be late for work that day because of school. Teachers argue, that if the students aren’t paying attention to their lecturing, then there is no use of them teaching which would be wasting their time and in turn the students’ time as well. The teacher gets paid to come to the school and teach the students and for the students to not pay attention and be distracted by texting would be very disrespectful to the teacher.…

Different students have different perspectives for a teacher. Some students guess teachers should be rewarded and some others students do think so. The teachers have to try to figure out how to teach every student the same way. They have to sum up how to teach every student but try to amount what helps them understand the lesson. Not every student learns the same way they all learn a different way. Teachers can give different ideas to students to make them learn the lesson better.…

My first reason is unfair blame. Unfair blame can easily happen when there is a large school, large amount of students and of teacher. Little eyes are watching and little ears are listening. The teacher is one of the child's ideal, it is very important for a teacher to have qualities which impress the child and the qualities which he can imitate and thus become good. For example, swearing in front of your children teaches them that bad language is appropriate. The teacher who seemed to be angry and unhappy put negative impact on children and young people. If we can‘t listen and respect the class teacher then it make negative impact on children and young people. We can’t tell them to do something when we do not do it ourselves.…
