Most of those children will then continue on to play that sport threw high school and if they are lucky, even threw college. All teachers should set different goals as the year approaches to make sure children are excelling academically in class. Every teacher should take in consideration how children learn in different ways. Two of the most common ways children learn are visual and auditory ways. Many students prefer something they can see rather than just hear the explanation, others prefer to just hear. Teachers should be able to explain in both ways to make sure students are learning. Teachers mainly inspire, educate and learn throughout the year. Every teacher has their own teaching style which makes them encourage and motivate children to strive for greatness. Mr. Chris McCloud is a 7th grade math teacher who uses many interesting teaching techniques to keep his class going. A teacher in the state of Oklahoma can make about $54,740 a year.(Google.) I noticed that teachers in Dallas can make anywhere from $35,731 to $70,060.(Google.) There is really not that big of a difference, but teachers are one of the lowest paying jobs. There are so many classes needed to get the major, and they work so hard so it is not fair to have to spend so much money and classes just to get a low paying job. Teachers that are retired usually do not get another job. I found out that management is a teacher skill.(Google.) So any job that technically involves management a teacher can do. If they chose to do management that would be in the business world. As in business management is it possible to make $43,631 - $90,790.(“2015 Median…

In my opinion teaching is very much like cooking, you follow the recipes and add in your own touch. Cherry Patten asked, “What Makes a good teacher? Like all good recipes, the ingredients for a teacher's success in the classroom are simple, easy to follow, and allow for personal interpretation, to enhance the result.” She's saying, yes, teachers have standards and a curriculum they have to meet, (the recipe.) but with every recipe you have a chance to put your own touch in, to make a lasting impression. Robert M. Hutchins says that “The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives.” Recently though, some students thought that education should not only be free, but that their student debts should also be cleared. On November 12, 2015, a number of college students across America walked out of their classrooms and marched for the right to a free college education. The students are demanding the right to a free education, a cancellation of all student debts, and that college campus workers should have a minimum wage of fifteen dollars (Quinlan). The actions that these people have taken reflect on how our society expects everything to be handed to them, instead of working hard to earn it.…

Most teachers that have a regular four year degree make a maximum salary of around $52,000 a year for basic teaching. Special education is the second highest teaching degree, which is an average of $44,590. An elementary school teacher’s salary is annually only around $42,777 which is a big cut compared to many other teaching salaries (Budero). Teachers find it difficult to move from grade to grade, or class to class. Teaching a specific set of tasks for a drawn-out period of time makes teachers comfortable with their positions, but moving jobs can also make it harder because of new lesson plans that need to be made. The government changes its guidelines even more as years pass; therefore teachers must adapt to these changes everytime this happens and put their trust into the students to succeed. This major sounds exciting because of the different types of work that can be done, but teaching positions fill up faster than most other majors considering it is so fun and rewarding.
