My Graduate Study Plan
My Graduate Study Plan When I decided to pursue graduate studies, many issues went through my mind. Among them were the strategies I would implement to succeed. It is also important to keep an open mind that can be flexible and creative when things do not go according to plan. Many people live without having any goals and seem to just exist and let things happen to them. Dreaming, planning and taking action are steps that will help me in achieving success in any endeavor. Ever since I can remember, I have had very clear personal goals. I write down my personal goals on paper and always go back to the list to remind myself and revise if needed. Independence has been a constant goal of mine and I believe that I have achieved this. I have a secure position at a facility that is advanced in its care and technology, in which I can express my compassion in the care I give. Professionally, I have very recently achieved a goal of becoming an assistant director of nursing of a facility. It is interesting because I have always believed there is a time for everything and that things will arrive in its own time. I will be learning so much about nursing administration and the way things work in a very efficient facility. I am very excited about this new phase in my life and am thirsty for everything I will be learning. I am pursuing graduate studies because I believe it will give me an advantage in the nursing field. I want to have the opportunity to learn more about nursing and believe that one can never think they know everything. I love learning and graduate studies will open new worlds and ideas to me. One short-term goal is to learn as much as I can about the online learning system at University of

A career in nursing requires someone to have compassion, sympathy, and care for others, especially those who are suffering from pain, illness and lack the understanding of what is happening to them or a loved one. It is a career of humanity, and it is this that first attracted me to a Masters degree in Nursing. My philosophy about nursing is that it is a career that one has to work hard for, but also a career that a person needs to have to a natural affinity for. I also believe one must have a commitment to helping others not expecting anything in return but a smile and knowing when you go home you gave your all. The ability to be a compassionate, caring nurse is what I hope to bring to the Masters degree in Nursing Program, gaining…
