My Heroes By Elizabeth Berg: Character Analysis
Judging and personality traits There are people who might not appear to be the best, but their struggle to gain the trust and love from others is far greater than those who may appear to be the best. All mankind came from a drop of semen, and we will leave as a piece of dust. You do not know when we were first brought to this world and you do not know when it will be your last day. Therefore, you should not go walking around like you know everything. As showed by a respected person like Elizabeth Berg in “ My Heros,” Judging someone and looking down on them reveals more about the judge than the judged. The bed is a worm, the droughts are cold, yet my feet swing outward into the chill.Sleep drags me backward until a new thought penetrates, I have a chance to achieve more than yesterday if I move now. I then got ready for a new day at school. I get to school, and immediately my best friend spots me, surprising me as she ran over and jumped on me. As always she starts …show more content…
Why do I say this? because sometimes when we judge, we tend to create opinions about others before we find out the reason to why are the way they are. We really should make a goal each day where we do not judge people before we really know them. Making quick judgment can lead to regrets, sometimes very large regrets. Often times we tell stories about others and we may not notice this but when we talk about others we tend to judge them. Judging someone and attempting to bring them down in front of others will only cast a bad reflection on you. This may also cause people to distance themselves."Do not treat anyone badly, for you may need their help someday. do not belittle anyone for Allah may raise them up above you someday", (Quran). Judging yourself before judging

Throughout the novella I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, Robert Neville, the last human who is immune to this disease, is an anti-hero. For instance, towards the end of the story, during his state of confusion after he woke up, he felt pain that he had not ever felt before and thought that it must mean it was the end and said to himself ‘’I am going to die’’ (p.164). This statement shows that he accepts that his life will end here and he will not try to fight it in any way in order to continue surviving. In addition to this, after he realizes where he is and what happened, Ruth came to check on him and asks him why he did not leave beforehand like she told him to in the letter she left him. Robert explained to her ‘’I…couldn’t […] I almost…

Have you ever heard of a saying, don’t judge a book by its cover? The story “The Most Dangerous Game” was about a man named Rainsford. He misjudged a man named General Zaroff who seemed kind in the beginning yet turned out to be evil. This phrase means don’t assume a person is one way unless you truly know them deep down in your heart. For example, Zaroff was flattering Rainsford with his looks, manners and the way he treated people. Also, don’t judge someone because you don’t what they have been through or what they may be experiencing.…
