As a young adult, my plan is fairly simple, with a few necessities. I would like to have a stable job, that is good work with a salary that provides me a comfortable lifestyle. The most important part of my young adulthood would be me liking my job and career. That I enjoy my job, enough that I would be able to do it for some of my life and my career enough to do it for the rest of my life. I would want to be able to support myself and live comfortably. Have a place to myself, most likely close to my job, so my time wouldn't be spent on the commute. There are many different, unique parts within my family culture. My immediate family’s culture does not follow a belief or religion. Instead, my family has rules, habits, activities and other things along those lines that we consider our family culture. One of the most important standards my family lives by is simple manners and rules. Always respect each other, be polite, make sure the work you're responsible for is complete (this could be chores, homework, etc), if you find yourself in an argument or disagreement, work it out. Basically, the usual inner workings of a family. Traditions in my family are fairly simple, but important to us, nonetheless. A few of them are being there to support each other, encouraging each other to do our best, to go above and beyond. For example, my two sisters and I play tennis, and my family make it a top priority to support each of us in our tournaments. Or try harder at everything we do, try our best and improve on what we set our mind to. A standard of my family is to graduate college. Many if not all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, etc have graduated college. Another standard of my family is succeeding. This does not mean if we fail, we are looked down upon. It just means that we have the courage and strength to get back up and try again. To not give up, and to have the mindset that if we keep going, we’ll get it eventually. To succeed by our own standards, no one else’s. My role in my family is simply put, the helper and supporter.
