I remember when I was taking Literature class in high school, I had to read different kinds of books such as novels, poetry or essays, from different authors for example, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Garcia Lorca, and Juan Rulfo. After each reading I had to summarize the book by chapters. I learned new techniques to write, I learned new vocabulary, and I also gave an opinion about the book. During the school year I read an average of eight books. All the knowledge I received in Literature class helped me to write reports in other subjects. For Example history, philosophy or biology. For each subject I had to do reports about activities during class. I had to search about specific topic and then I had to write about, I investigated giving conclusions and results. Always I had to put in a specific order all my knowledge for finish a good project, another important experience for writing in high school was when I took democracy class. I had to write a essays about political problems that happened at that moment. Or give an opinion about important news in the government. Every language has rules and is necessary to follow them. The experience I got from high school, and university give me a base for learning English. I feel very proud of myself because I am learning a second language and eventually I can use this knowledge in my job, with my kids, and any time during my life. The meaning of writing to me is to put my ideas and thoughts in to words in a logical order that is easy to understand and comprehend. My experience of writing during my life is not too extensive.
