If there was a basketball history class at my high school, I would ace it every year and it would be by far my favorite class. I could see it now: the teacher asking “Who’s the Nets’ all-time leading scorer?” Everyone says “Vince Carter” or “Julius Erving.” I say “Buck Williams” to the amazement of my peers . That’s what I want to do when I grow up: analyze and study the game of basketball, preferably as a broadcaster. I see guys like Charles Barkley, Jeff Van Gundy, and Kevin Harlan, among others, as intelligent minds of the NBA, providing great analysis and interesting points and opinions. Ultimately, I would like to be on an NBA talk show, like the TNT phenomenon Inside The NBA doing not only what I love but what I am passionate about as well. That’s what everyone should look for in a career: no matter if it’s nursing, swimming, teaching, you name it. If it makes you happy, do it, and you never know how it can change your life.
