Natasha Romanova Characteristics
The Black Widow
Natasha Romanova, better known as the Black Widow, was born in Stalingrad, Russia , and is said to be a descendant of the Russian Royal family. She is a former ballerina, and she once tried to leave behind her life of fighting to become a fashion designer but failed (Black Widow Natasha, 2015 para.8). She was trained at a young age by the hero, the Wolverine, where she learned how to become an expert spy, athlete, and assassin. The Black Widow is a heroine because she has at least four of the qualities of a hero. One reason that the Black Widow is a heroine is that she is supernatural. This is proven because the government slowed her aging by putting her through treatments, which would not happen to an everyday person. …show more content…
One of these weapons is a bracelet that shoots out the “widow’s line” and the “widow’s bite” which releases electric bolts. She has gloves that have suction cups, which help her to easily climb up and down buildings. She also has a belt that contains plastic explosives , she uses these weapons in battles against her enemies. (Black Widow, 2013 para.10). Another characteristic that qualifies her as heroine is that she goes on adventures and quests. According to the website “Comic Vine,” some of the quests she goes on are against evil forces like: the Masters of Evil, Gray Gargoyle, and many other evil groups. (Black Widow, 2015 Para. 8). Another adventure or quest she went on was that she was once brainwashed into fighting her allies the Avengers and then she was captured by General Yuri Brushov (Black Widow, 2015 Para. 5). Finally, the last characteristic that qualifies the Black Widow as a heroine is that she has fatal flaws. One of these fatal flaws is that she manipulated people into doing evil tasks for her. An example of this is when she manipulated Hawkeye, a fellow hero, into stealing plans from Tony Stark, better known as Iron Man (Follow the history, 2015, para. 1).
