A negative impact of being a twin is that I am very competitive. When my twin sister and I were little, we always had competitions over anything from who is the best dancer at dance class to little things like who could make it to the door faster. One of the biggest competitions my sister and I had was to be the best at tennis. During our freshman year, we both were on the tennis team at school. We had a roster that ordered the players by how well they played. The top 20 girls got to travel with the team and everyone after 20 are a reserve. Every Friday at practice we had ranking duels. The rule was if you wanted to move up on the list you had to duel the player above you and win against them in seven sets. In one duel, my sister and I had to go against each other. It was very intense because neither of us wanted to lose. Losing would mean that the other twin was better. The game was really crazy because at the end of six sets it was tied at 3 sets each. Duels usually did not take very long, but this one took over two hours. The last set almost took 45 minutes because it took so long for anyone to score a point. In the end, I won. When we were little, we always had to share things such as toys. It continued until we were older. We had to share things such as clothes and shoes. The worst part of having to share clothes and shoes is that my sister would always borrow something without asking first, and then I would need it or want to wear it and would not be able to. The hardest thing to share was our first car. It was really hard to share because if one of us had to be at work or at a school function we could not go anywhere unless we could find a friend to give us a
