In this lab I learned how to create a VLAN and assign a port to it. I also learned how to view the status and what I have done to the VLAN. VLANs are very important to have in a LAN it allows to have specific users access certain things and it enhances performance. So knowing how to implement and configure them in important in the business. The activities on this lab will benefit me in my professional career because that’s another skill that I can add to my list. Academically If I am asked to create VLANs, name it a unique tag and assign a port to it I can do so.
