The results of the questionnaire showed a wide variation, and in some cases a lack of definition of scope of practice and job descriptions for reporting radiographers (Tables 1-5). Which was in contrast to current professional body requirements which require a clearly defined and sepcific role with routinely scheduled sessions under the Agenda for Change and Knowledge and Skills Frameworks8 , the Service of Diagnosis of Illness provided to the employing NHS Trust under Section 3(1) and Section 5(1)(b) of the NHS Act 197728. Furthermore the RCR29 stipulate that any reporting practice involves direct clinical care and should be allocated appropriately defined and scheduled reporting sessions to adequately support service provision.…

Secondly, Character. I identify the eighth, “Possesses the concentration, self-discipline, and sustained attention and effort as demonstrated by their perseverance and application to studies,” from the list provided to be the most important. Currently, I maintain a 4.0-grade point average, specifically a cumulative GPA of 4.027 which I intend to maintain until my senior year. I am a student with self-imposed standards that, at times, seem to drive me beyond my limits. Notably, my parents have never mandated that I engage in strenuous classes, nor have they persisted of me to have a 4.0 GPA, but I have always set a standard for myself to maintain that grade point average. Moreover, I constantly seek knowledge and I find a sense of joy in the…
I know that the National Honor Society is an honor to be in and I truly want to participate in it. I believe I am highly qualified and I can prove it. I give my best effort to be involved in as many activities as I can. This year, I joined the Spanish Club to make more friends, donated shoes to the Sole4Souls charity organization, and I am a new volunteer at the S.P.C.A. shelter. I am also in the orchestra and band programs at my school and I volunteer at my old middle school for the orchestra and band mentoring programs they have there. I not only demonstrate the pillar community service, but scholarship, character, and leadership as well.…
This is the first time that I have been given the opportunity to endow to this organization. Although I may not know much about the fulfillments I need to maintain, I know that I will work very hard to be a successful leader and to help manage many benefits to my community. I will work even harder to expand the NHS with many accomplishments that we can make.…
Cases of teenage pregnancy continue to rise rather fast. Unfortunately, most health facilities such as trusts do not offer the requisite antenatal care to expectant teenagers. Lack of or the existence of poorly managed antenatal classes for teenagers is major challenge in ensuring expectant teenagers have comfortable pregnancies. Change and innovation are the right approaches by which antenatal classes for expectant teenagers can be realised. Several models of change are available for use in ensuring change in the formation and implementation of antenatal classes for teenagers. This innovation plan for enhanced quality care in antenatal classes for teenagers is based on the NHS change model. The eight core principles of the NHS Change Model form the framework for the innovation plan.…
Leadership is one of the core values a member of the National Honor Society must have. A true leader sets goals and works to achieve them. I believe that I show leadership in all things I do. In sports I am very vocal and give positive encouragement to my teammates. In middle school I stepped out of my comfort zone by running for student council and campaigning against many of my fellow classmates. While I was not be privileged with a spot on student council it forced me to work harder and achieve a spot on the National Junior Honor Society my eighth grade year where I worked with my classmates in planning school functions.…
Being accepted into The National Honor Society would be such an apt opportunity, as well as a privilege. By presenting myself as a member of this prestigious society I aim to also service my community and exemplify myself as a student. I have worked extremely hard to maintain my grades at an “A” and above average for all my scholar life. I have mostly succeeded up until my freshmen year. For personal reasons my average dropped greatly, but as you can probably check I’ve made remarkable improvements and will continue to do so. My long-term life goal is to better myself as much as possible and become a respected member in society. I believe that if allowed the opportunity I will give my greatest efforts into trying to maintain this society’s legacy and reputation. Considering my two older siblings have been members in NHS I think I’m well informed of the goals this organization aims to hold. The fact that I could be a third generation member has motivated me tremendously to try and improve my chances by becoming even more studious and involved in school activities. I would exemplify this organization by always servicing other’s needs before my own while still maintain my exemplary leadership qualities. Being in JROTC for two years has taught me many attributes which would, in time, prove to be very useful for NHS. If I’m allowed to enter I will continue to strengthen my skills for my own well-being as well as my community’s well-being.…
As the final chord of our theatrical production, “The City of Angels,” roared through the antique St. Petersburg High School auditorium, my cello and I found ourselves in the pit orchestra eager to vamoose home. The band continued to play as the audience left, though I dared not join in - I left that to the horns, drums, and guitar players. I secretly put my instrument in its case and snuck away, trying not to disturb the band.…
The National Honors Society is more than just a honor roll, but an organization that recognizes the efforts made by hard working high school students. I would like to join National Honors Society because it would challenge my development in both my community and my school. The National Honors Society, consisting of over one million students, would make me a part of a large community that could create many opportunities for me in the future. A highly respected organization such as the National Honors Society is very significant to me. The scholarships and programs offered by this organization helps increase my ability to get the education that I desire that I might not have been able to receive due to the rapidly rising costs of college. Every…

Throughout my three years at Woonsocket High School, I grew as in individual. Enhanced my sense of the community. Also I have advanced my knowledge basis to prepare myself for the workforce and life outside of school. These are all important things because they taught me what life as an adult might be and taught me a lot. Woonsocket High was a very good environment for me. Sometimes I felt like school was very stressful, but I could I say I saw Woonsocket High School grow as a school, and I’m happy to be apart of the class of 2016.…

I am a great MBA candidate because I am a hard worker, and I am dedicated to getting a higher education. I just recently graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Business Management and Organizational Development in August of 2014. That was a rewarding accomplishment for me. I am ready to better myself and go back to school to make a better life for myself and my son. I am a single mother with a sixteen year old son, and I want to set an example for my son by going back to school to earn my Master's degree. I didn’t want him to grow up thinking that just because I was divorced from his father that I couldn’t be a successful mother. I want him to know that no matter how old you are and what your circumstances are, that you can be successful, go back to school and follow your dreams.…
