ASSIGNMENT IN NIKE
INTRODUCTION:-
This assignment is about the distribution network used by NIKE.I will discuss about the distribution strategy and channels of the distribution Network used by Nike and then I will compare with that which is used by the its competitors like Reebok and Adidas.And at last I will discuss about the other methods which according to me will be effective.I will also discuss about the comparative points between NIKE and its competitors.And lastly I will write analysis on the basis of that.
Advertising and marketing:-
NIKE plays an important role in advertising and marketing of its products.They are also one of the important agent in traditional marketing model where they promote the products through advertisement and marketing.They had many brand ambassadors who are promoting the product and people get attracted by them and their faith on the product.Promotions are focused on the consumer with prices at trade promotions increasing or decreasing with the context of the specific promotion drive.They create awareness through different media channels.Nike’s advertising strategy was to create dominant presence in media.Nike created media presence in several trend settings United States cities.They invest a lot on advertising and promotion to make their brand as market leader.
OTHER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK:-
In my opinion NIKE can use some other methods to distribute its products which will be more effective and efficient apart from the methods which they are using.They are as follows:-
a)They can organize events to promote its product and give knowledge about the products to the customers.
b)They can display the product in various stores in a better way so that people will get attracted and they can go for this trusted brand.
c)Even they can call their trusted customers and directly send them the products at some discounted rates which will help in the promotion of brand and building trust among the customers.
