Genesis partnered with MobiApp; a product company that specializes in cross platform mobile application development, to leverage the emerging mobile market and to develop its own mobile presence in the current competitive market. During the initial phase of the project Genesis deployed a two member team composed of a technical lead, Bob, and a junior software engineer, Jack, to be trained on the MobiApp product. After few sessions MobiApp wanted to evaluate the two members by developing a simply mobile application using their product and provided ample time to get used to tool. Towards the end of the project the Jack left the Genesis for personal reasons but this hardly raised any concern since most of the work was still carried out by the technical lead, Bob. Genesis expanded the team by introducing two more junior engineers and one senior engineer, David. The project was completed within budget and MobiApp felt the Genesis team is competent enough to handle projects from their customers which would essentially follow an offshoring model.
