Nuclear Warfare Hiroshima, the first time nuclear bomb was used in war. On August 6, 1945 Hiroshima was attacked by the united states using a nuclear bomb named “Little Boy”. The attack on Hiroshima killed 20,000+ soldiers and 70,000-146,000 civilians. “Little Boy” was detonated at 500 meters above the ground because it would spread further with radiation and cause more damage to structures and people. Nagasaki, August 9, 1945 bomb two. “Fat Man”was detonated over Nagasaki and killed up to 80,000 civilians. Nagasaki, was not the first set target, it was actually Kokura, Japan but the smoke was so bad rolling in from Hiroshima, they could not see the city and could not drop the second bomb. With today's technology with guided missiles and rockets, these weapons of mass destruction could be launched at any time of day from anywhere in the world to wreak havoc among other country, and kill millions upon millions of people. But today we don't half to worry about nuclear armed missiles, we have the H-bomb to worry about. At this point in history, nuclear missiles are every where, everyone has one. But the hydrogen bomb is a new level added to the game of war.The hydrogen bomb is 5,000 times more effective that a standard nuclear bomb, and with the technology of moving one of there across the world at hundreds of miles per hour the hydrogen bomb could be the end of all things that we know. North Korea in the last months have released information that they have successfully detonated a hydrogen bomb from creation to texting, and if they are telling the truth then we should be on high alert for anything coming from them or anyone else.
