Participating in an organized sport teaches dedication. No matter if you fail at something don’t give up just keep trying. Showing dedication helps you improve in all areas that arise when playing a sport. When I was in high school, I was involved in softball. Children and teenagers will work with others the rest of their life. In softball I got taught what team work was about. Everyone on the team had to play their position to make things happen so we could win that game. If one person didn’t get a play down then we all were thrown off to what to do next. When I was playing softball, I also was working at Dairy Queen. When you have a job it’s not all about one person getting things done. Closing at night at a work place everyone did the task they had to do so we could close and get home faster. If teamwork wasn’t use than nothing would get accomplished. The big key in working in a fast food restaurant is to work together so everything goes as smoothly as possible. Getting children involved in a sport or a club can be very beneficial. It teaches children that they have to work well with others. Softball has taught be many valuable lessons that I will always use while growing
