Thesis: Junior's decision of transferring schools from his tribe to Reardan, is a poor decision because he never feels that he belongs, people always find a way to pick on him and he disgraces his tribe when he departs. Body Paragraph 1
Topic: To start off, Junior’s choice of transferring schools is a detriment because he never feels like he is welcome. This is due to the fact that he goes in with the mentality that he is physically different, as a result, he has difficulty fitting in and he feels that the school actively tries to take away his Indian culture.

Topic: Lastly, being the first person to leave the reservation to attend an all white school has a lot of consequences to it, thus he associates with the title of a rebel, in return he receives immeasurable amounts of backlash from his family and returning back provides him with a good opportunity to seek forgiveness. Considering that cultural identity is a recurring problem in First Nation children today, a sense of pride is one the most important aspects to taking part in a tribe ("Aboriginal Children”).
First supporting point: Primarily, seeing that Junior is the very first one to leave his reservation to attend an all white school, he is a traitor and is prone to all the consequences his tribe holds against
