P3 - Physical / Technological Resources
Throughout this report shall discuss the main physical and technological resources required in operations of a selected organisation. Thus allowing us to see how our day-to-day business can be run, explaining how human management can also improve upon the performance of an organisation and lastly evaluating, how budget costs and controlling the performance of the business can ultimately increase overall success.
Building and facilities
The first thing is needed for my selected business is a property to work, this is due to the fact that they will not be needing an online presence. Any business starting up needs money for facilities/space to work from (depending on the business), with some working in small office rooms some working in large tower blocks are large building a good example of this is Canary Wharf and Central London. However ways for organisations to reduce supply and stocks is through production lines, and or having plants separate from the business. An example of this is a plant or factory also things that can be used for business's. The small business I shall be referring to is Dunfield Sandwich Bar a small sandwich shop located towards main roads, private limited company in a partnership, although used to be owed by a sole-trader, being a sandwich bar and a small business, the only need a small facility to work from. It is important when having a facility it is easy to access for the customers, especially with large companies such as Barclays, Santander and others have such large facilities/buildings requirements. However due to the fact that this is a small sandwich bar only a small facility is needed. It will only need small basic requirements such as tables and chairs, with a waiting area for take away items. This is a way to keep the beauty and better customer care for families also reduce costs for the business.
