PARENTS BELIEVE IN SCHOOLS
P.B.I.S. actually stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, a district program that has served our schools for several years. Advisory assemblies occur at least once a week where students receive instruction and partici-pate in group activities. Every other week students participate in a raffle during an Advisory assembly where they earn recognition and a gift. They earn raffle tickets by displaying any of our three core values, Respect, Effort, and Responsibility, or for demonstrating any of our seven learner qualities: Reflect, Self-Aware, Determination, Think, Wonder, Question, Connect.
Eagle’s ASB (Associated Student Body) has been a positive influence for the school culture now and in the past. From planning activities to recognizing students for academic and behavioral achievements, ASB has really become the leading organization for our school. This year, students applied, interviewed, and only few were chosen to represent our site. As a result, they have given the whole student body the opportunity to review school-wide policies, organize events, open a student store, and create fund raising opportunities including our first ever school year book. We are very grateful to our ASB.
