oils.
f. What are the financial costs and health costs of the diet?
The financial costs can be relatively high because trying to buy fresh fish and meats that are from wild game and fish can be a burden on a person or family. Now, health costs can be can affect someone depending on their health history. For instance, a person who has a family history of heart disease it can be high risk due to it exceeds the Dietary Guidelines for Americans which it recommends to reduce the intake trans and saturated fats, high levels of food sources in poly- and monounsaturated fats, and the high intake of plant oils.. The diet is lacking in carbohydrates and micronutrients such as vitamin D, calcium and dietary fiber.
g. Based on all the above research as well as final diet score, do you recommend this diet? Why or why not?
I would say that I would not recommend this diet.
The first reason is that is not healthy and its not made for everyone. I believe this diet may be used for athletes that use a lot of energy to burn the nutrients that the meat contains. A normal person that works a full time job has a family or other extra curriculum activity that does not include exercise it can be unhealthy. Not even mentioning the burden on your financials due to the high costs of purchasing the required foods that is required to eat for this diet. I would instead recommend eating healthy foods and shrink your portions of foods. This will help you control your weigh or even lose
weight.
