Minecraft, it's not like other video games. It can be used to relax or to mentally challenge yourself. This game is a positive influence in a world where there are too many bad ones. Its great for learning. Its marketed as a game but it wasn't much later before universities schools and parents started using it for its potential for education. The game itself has an wide range of concepts, math, problem solving,goal setting/achieving, and economics to name a few. Minecraft is highly mentally challenging. It's not a game where players sit idly by while collecting coins and killing gangsters. Coming up with solutions to problems that are encountered throughout the game. Minecraft has an innate ability to hold a person's attention. It encourages them to learn how to do different tasks at the same time. Multitasking is a key ability to surviving and enjoying this game. In a time where being able to keep a child's attention for more than five minutes is almost non-existent, minecraft has no problem. It's amazing to watch how much deep thought and focus goes into the execution of their self initiated minecraft projects. Minecraft teaches players problem solving skills. It presents them a problem and forces them to strategize a plan to solve it. Minecraft itself is a very interesting program. It can be modified to fit each player's different preferences. For the first time children are becoming interested in how the program operates. This game shows the player to learn how computers work, while entertaining them. It’s almost as if minecraft is teaching them while the kids play the game. So it becomes second nature to learn and retain information while playing.Minecraft is a surprisingly flexible world. Turn on survival mode and go on quests, make weapons, and fight of zombies.Or you can turn on adventure mode and set goals of what you want to
