Percy Jackson Lightning Thief Research Paper
In this essay, I will write about how the movie Percy Jackson Lightning Thief draws on and transforms the legend of Perseus by rendering new characters, hero type, plot, and basic hero themes. I will do this in three paragraphs in the order of plot events, themes, hero types. Also with a conclusion paragraph.

First of all of Percuse and Percy Jackson's hero themes were Brain over Brawn, and Good vs evil. Percey Jackson had one more hero type the Brawn over brain. For example Percey Jackson used his water powers in the end to defeat luke (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. 20 Century Fox, 2010., Christopher Columbus ) which is using brawn over brain, but Perceuse stuck to strategy in all of his fights like when he used his tools to kill medusa, to find medusa, and the idea to use medusa's head to turn polydectes into stone.(D’Aulaire 198,199,200) Also, during the scene in Percy Jackson Lightning Thief When Percy fought the hydra he tried to fight the beast, and it was his alli grover who thought of using medusa's cut of head to turn the beast to stone.
