Perfect Paradise Sure we all have either in reality or in our imagination, that perfect place where we can spend a lot of time and which we don’t want to leave or change for anything. I have been in some nice places but no place in earth yet has surpassed the beauty of the place of my dreams. This is a place where we can relax and get disconnected from reality and spend a time of peace. Also where we can put our thoughts in order or even bring some memories to mind. Or even bring that special person with you. My perfect paradise is a desert Island where I can enjoy of peace and time to admire the beauty of nature. When I get to this Island, I can observe the golden-white sand that makes this place to shine. Also, this large palm trees with their big branches that almost reach the ground and this beautiful colorful background with all kind of vegetation and colorful flowers along with some beautiful birds flying from one side to another showing off their attractive plumage and filling the place with their chirp. Some birds are loud and others just sweet to the ear. Some of them can fly so high that I can barely see them; they just disappear in the amazingly azure sky above me, the sky without a single cloud and with a radiant sun that warms and illuminates the beauty of this place. I can smell the intense scent of the sea that runs through my nose and get all the way to my heart making me feel relax and peaceful.
As I walk through this Island, I can feel the warm sand in my toes; it feels like ants climbing my legs. Looking at all this sand makes me want to sit and play with it like I used to do when I was a little kid, doing the castles and the funny shapes. I can hear the wind whispering in my ear like trying to say something. If I look back, I see the blue sea with its waves crashing and splashing like they are having a water fight. Out in the distance I can hear sounds of other animals that I can’t distinguish but that as I walk

“It’s Your Ship” was an excellent book about leadership, however, I do believe it has its own particular of leadership style, since it was coming from a naval officer perspective. I really had to dig into my brain it relate instance to what they were discussing in the book. Captain Abrashoff did make point within his book that spoken volumes to me but some of his leadership a lot of leadership cannot do because of shaming within the profession community, rules of law or it can be illegal for someone to do.…

As I walked closer to the entrance, my heart began pounding harder and harder. I could feel the sweat in my hands, as the time closer. Walking into the first room, I was grabbing my dad’s hand. I could feel my hands sweating almost like Niagara Falls. I tried to keep my eyes closed, but it would just make it worst. I slowly began to open them, and the creepy actors were everywhere. They yelled, and ran, all over the place. My fear just got worst.…

One morning, we decided to go out with some of the guests from the hostel for a hike along the hills by the seashore. These hills were covered in thick blades of grass but had rock faces that were pointed out towards the water. If you looked to your left you’d see these hills go for miles; mound after mound, circular shaped huts with cone shaped roofs sitting on top. African trees as well, looking as if the wind was blowing all the branches to one side of the trunk but they stood absolutely still; frozen in time. To your right you’d see the ocean go out for as far as you can see, while standing on a cliff with an almost vertical drop. From looking at the cliffs from the sides, it showed the many trails descending down the cliffs made by mountain goats and every once and a while you could see one half way down; climbing up. Although our surroundings were incredible, the heat was as well. We went through several bottles of water through-out the hike. Our leader, an African local, lead us down one of the more climbable hills to the ocean floor where it was covered in rock. With the sun beating down on us we felt trapped because we couldn’t swim in the water, the waves were too strong we’d be thrown up against the rocks.…

As I sprint across the hot sand that burns the soles of my feet, the smell of salt water and sunscreen hits my face. I can see teenagers nearby as they dive to save a falling volleyball, covering themselves in grains of sand. While I’m preoccupied, watching the intense game of volleyball, the cold waves of the Atlantic Ocean come crashing down on my legs. I can hear my best friend, Tara, dying of laughter as my body tries to adjust to the temperature of the sparking turquoise waters. Surrounding us is vibrantly colored tropical plants and trees.…

The bright blue background and High Mountain tops over 10 feet taller than me standing at 5’8’’. The slightly chilly breeze that lightly brushes my skin leaving small goose bumps throughout the surface of my whole body. The sound of the waterfall and view of the lake so translucent I can see the yellow fish all the way to the bottom. The trees singing in the background mimicking the echo of the water. The dirt soft and warm in-between my fingers from the pulsating raises of the sun. The rays drift in and out from the cover of the small puffy white and gray clouds. There is an overview of the city and tiny bugs in my peripheral vision that fly above me, there I sit on the mountain side with only the company of myself. I mentally evaluate my…

My own view of a utopian society is fairly simple, a place in which there is no pain, no crime, no anger, no corruption, where there is no need for "justice", a place where murders would never take place. The government would be a public government, in which all citizens would take actions they make would be fair not ingnerent like our govement. Women and men would have equal writes and shar opinons. If a war would start in my utopian nations and friends and answer 'stop this is a place of love'.But in society today this would never happen. than society would answer the call to war and fight to protect their homes. Also i would try protecting my nation, governments, to help protect/uphold laws and to rebuild the economy. Every person would be perfect have a home, good education and health, and grow up in the safety of a caring family. In nature they would be no killing, food would be grown and not effecct the food chain and we would eat speacly bread animals.…

The howling of the wind brought my eyes to open. Where was I? Focusing in the dark of night, confusion washed over me as I came to realize I was in the desert. Distant landscapes of dry and worn rock surrounded me, and beneath my bare feet I felt the gritty sand caught between my toes. I was surrounded by those rocky hills and yet as I scanned the desolate desert it seemed never ending. The irony of the nighttime desert suddenly set into my body; that ghastly wind moving right through me and chilling my bones to that of splintering ice. The need to move started me forward though, and I felt a sharp ache all over, my body trying to fight against change. Was I lost? My heart began pounding fast in my chest, the blood pumping through my veins felt like an icy river. So slow, but I trudged onwards, hope holding onto a possible lie. It was when my pace held steady that a sudden wariness alerted me to foreign noises. Soft hissing sailed through the air waves, accompanied by a more mechanic static… What was that? It slid right into my mind and took me in a hold. I halted, my feet sinking into the sand. An uneasy paranoia gripped my chest as the noises mirrored me, pausing just as I did. Sickness rose like bile in my throat, I could feel eyes upon me… somewhere. I began to move again, desperate to leave this place now. Stubbornly, I stared towards the endlessness of the chilly desert, refusing to look back. I dared not to look back. A strong gale came, making my hair flail out behind me and the tiniest of noises began to spiral around my head with unseen stealth. The static came back, but mingled within it was a wicked giggling. I looked around uneasily, head turning to look and search all around me. Where was it coming from? All I saw was those silent, unmoving rocky hills…The giggling continued to move all around me, fading in and out of hearing range, corrupting me to an edginess that brought on an unwanted burst of adrenalin. Burning tears began to well up in my eyes,…

As I walk down the narrow, brown, rickety bridge that leads to the ocean my heart begins to race in anticipation of reaching the fascinating sight. I’m suddenly surrounded by sand that is white and pure as snow. I walk at a turtle’s speed absorbing this overwhelming beauty that encircles me. The sky is the brightest blue I’ve ever seen, so bright that it almost seems as if it is from an animated movie and not real life itself. Fluffy clumps of clouds that were covering the sky before slowly fade away into thin air and the crystal clear waves sparkle like diamonds. The water is never-ending. I see heaps of seagulls flying around the sky, white and grey and full of spirit. As a gust of wind runs through my long, dark, brown hair I look to the right to see two elegant dolphins leap from the deep blue sea and dive back in as if saying hello to the gorgeous, heavenly day.…
