On February 4, 1993, I met a person that impacted my life in the best way possible. This loving kind soul and incredible woman taught me compassion, values, and showed me the true definition of unconditional love.
My entire life there has been one person who has impacted my life greatly in so many different ways. The love, care, and compassion she has shown to my family are astronomical. She is the reason I am the person I have become today. I know I would have never been able to have overcome any hardships without her love, support, and her words of wisdom to have guided me through them.
I had never understood what “Love” meant. Typically love is used nonchalantly, there is an almost like an emptiness behind. Some might even feel completely obligated to say to one another and not feel truly mean it. So, what is love? Four hours passed by and we could tell she was getting weaker and weaker. Enduring pain because she was so far gone pain medications were not working for her anymore. All three of us by her side she opened her eyes on last time to ask me for the time once more. I looked at my phone, turned the bright screen facing her and whispered 12:00pm.
