When Romeo and Juliet meet on Juliet’s balcony, Juliet becomes very hasty and myopic. “If that thy bent of love be honorable,/Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow/By one that I’ll procure to come to thee/Where and what time thou wilt perform the rite,/And all my fortunes at thy foot I’ll lay/And follow thee my lord throughout the world.” (2.2.143-148). This shows how very impractical Juliet can be. She not only wants to marry Romeo less than a day after they met, she is willing to drop everything, to be with Romeo. During the Capulets’ feast, Romeo and Juliet first meet and immediately fall in love. “My only love sprung from my only hate!/Too early seen unknown, and known too late!/Prodigious birth of love it is to me,/That I must love a loathèd enemy.”(1.5.148 -141). This shows that Romeo and Juliet do not know what true love is because the real kind of love is the kind that takes time to develop, their love is very blighted. Juliet is very impatient.
