Upstage she leaps into the air, raises her tender arms and bends her elbow the special way. She creates her own movement. Lights are gleaming on her body while she twirls. Her gestures are elegant and emotionally engaging. It is creativity that gave her the wings to fly on stage. Creativity has allowed me to share my knowledge with future generations and spread my art within the audience in the most famous theatres around the world. I began to learn dance taking improvisations body movement’s classes when I was a child. Then, I became in a dancer. Creativity helped me to get my identity to be a creator.
Creativity is inspiration. Recognized international choreographer through history have been inspired by books, paintings, thoughts, objects or issues. For example, in all improvisation exercises people need an inspiration. Therefore a point to support their movement and the quality of dance. In my experience, inspiration has been my first tool to draw forth my personal body movement. When dancers are writing a movement they can express their feelings with each part of their body. Being immersed in a creative process, we can reach true freedom and change our life for at least that moment. For example, in dance composition classes for children in all school programs, students have to recreate objects or animals. Students are unaware of how creative they can be. They have the opportunity to transport themselves to another world and create a dance that is uniquely theirs. I always develop my dance movements by thinking about the effect on my audience.
