It was historic and beautiful in every way possible. It had museums, beer, and all sorts of spitting words that no one in our group could really understand. I knew I was a bit German, so I especially enjoyed seeing a country my ancestors lived in. When we were finished exploring the history and seeing the world in all different lights, it was time to go back to the little town in America, known best as Tupelo, Mississippi. I texted Janae, and was in a state of complete and utter panic when I saw the gate I was told to go to completely empty, and it looked like a store that had closed up shop forever. I sat down at the strange gate anyway, due to the fact I could hardly stand because of exhaustion. Eventually, the gate opened back up, and our tour group got back together. I was so relieved, I slept the entire next flight. When we got to the final airport and I saw my parents, it felt like I had not seen them in years, due to how much I had learned.
"You have to tell us all about your trip!" My mom said with extreme enthusiasm, and I nodded so excited to tell them about all I had learned, about the new friends I met, and told them how I was going to take them there one day.
