Two years earlier… In the summer we always go camping for two weeks at Pride of America Camping Resort it is our family tradition. On our way my mom turns around very hesitant and tells everyone that Cori has been in a singular ATV accident and is injured and is in the hospital. Honestly I thought maybe she broke a bone or got a concussion. But I played through the day of softball not thinking what what actually happened to Cori. When we leave the tournament we drive to Cori’s praying session and my mom updates us on what Cori’s injuries actually are. She tells us that Cori has very little brain activity and a bruised rib and said that they were very worried about Cori’ brain. My heart dropped to the floor immediately and I started to cry. My best friend has been in this condition for a day and I had no care in world of what actually ad happened to her. I got really mad at myself, but held in all my emotions for Cori’s praying session. I walked into the pardeeville church trying to hold it together. There were hundreds of people at Cori’ praying session, it was very heartwarming. During the session the man that found Cori on the side of the rode unconscious said it was his fault that Cori was the severely hurt, I felt so bad for him he had so much weight on his shoulders. I would feel the same way if I was him.
