Physically, I have lost some weight from running as it have burned off some of the excess calories. I have also noticed that my immunity has increased. I wouldn’t get sick as easily as I used to when the seasons used to change. For overall mental health, running makes me feel better about myself. As mentioned before, it helped relieve my stress which was a huge mental problem for me. By relieving the excess energy and hormone from my body I was able to sleep better and have a better appetite. Before I started running, I was sort of in a depressed state of feeling useless and afraid of failure.
