After my dad got the key and we settled into our room, we jumped into the pool until it was time to go to bed. I woke up the next morning and was ready for the final stretch of driving to get to North Topsail beach.
We arrived at our beach house that we would be staying at for the week and looked around. I said, “The view is so awesome!” My uncle walked over and replied, “wow, it really is!” We unpacked our bags and looked at our rooms. My cousin said, “wow, that’s a big one!” My mom said, “That's huge!” We kept going farther down the beach catching crabs. The next morning, my mom and I went out onto the beach and looked for shells. The morning was the best time because the tide from the previous night brought all the shells up onto the shore. I found an extremely shiny and smooth shell. I showed my mom and she said, “Wow, that is smooth!” I replied, “Yes, I am keeping it!” We continued walking down the beach until we found a jellyfish that washed up on the shore. I looked at it and said, “Wow look, it’s huge!” The jelly fish must have been at least 8 inches in diameter. My mom came to look and said, “Look how clear the body is!” I replied, “You can see its insides!” We continued down the beach to look for more shells.
On the second to last day of vacation my dad and I went to the USS North Carolina battleship. The ship was huge and very interesting.
