Personal Narrative: My Experience With National Honor Society

Through the classes you take at school, you can obtain a lot of information, but there is also a lot that you can learn outside of the classroom. From your interests, the organizations you participate in, or even just your daily activities, you can gain a lot of esoteric knowledge for the subjects that mean most to you. I have gained knowledge in certain subjects and areas from outside of the classroom.
I try to keep up with current events and the news, but I particularly enjoy reading articles about scientific current events. Since I love studying science and I like keeping up with what is going on in the world, I like to know what kind of discoveries and innovations are happening across the globe in the field of science. By keeping up with these, I am able to pick up on and learn new scientific concepts and applications that I haven’t learned in my classes at school.
By being President, I have had to learn a lot about leadership and responsibility, along with other important things. I have discovered how to work with others more efficiently through working with the Vice President, Secretary, and other members. Also, I have learned how to delegate tasks to different committees in order for our organization to stay more organized and accomplish more.
