I was the called the flower princess because I was over 8 years old, so I couldn’t be called the flower girl. I was twelve years old, I was so happy that I could pick out and wear a white dress! Especially when I get to wear white because I always get it stained. I loved the design of all the dresses at the store, but my favorite was a white dress with flowers all over it! When we went to order the dress they were out of stock in my size so we had to order it online. On the day of the wedding, I went down the aisle with my cousin Cayden, he was the ring bearer. I was so excited to go down the aisle because I felt like I was walking down the red carpet. I loved throwing the flowers on the white carpet, as I was throwing the flowers I had to hold Cayden’s hand because he was scared and didn’t want to walk down the aisle. After the wedding we went to the reception. When I first walked in I saw a grand piano, it was so cool looking and big. I wanted to play it but there was a sign that said no one can play it. There was a man sitting in front of it that was playing it, only he was allowed to play it. The wedding cake was huge! It was so pretty, I couldn’t wait to eat some. We all started to eat our dinner, I saved room for dessert. Finally my grandma and grandpa said they were going to cut the cake together. The waitresses started to serve the cake, it was so delicious! The DJ played a lot of songs, and everyone was dancing. I didn’t dance because I don’t know how to and because I don’t like to dance in front of others. My aunt grabbed me and made me dance with her. It was a very fun

The Fury, the fastest, longest, and tallest rollercoaster on the East Coast. With a top speed of 95 mph and a height of 325 feet makes it the biggest rollercoaster I had ever gotten on, beating the Intimidator 305 by 25 feet. I remember seeing on television and wanting to ride it really badly. It just looked so amazing and since I love rollercoasters and love riding rollercoasters, I knew it was something I had to do. I had ridden lots of rollercoasters before this one such as the Intimidator 305 and the Top Thrill Dragster, which I had enjoyed riding very much, and I figured that the Fury would be just as good. So I asked my parents of we could go to the Carrowinds to ride the Fury. They said yes and we went with my aunt to the Carrowinds.…

I remember the day vividly: the sizzling of food frying, children yelling, my tears running, it was the first time I adventured to Six Flags. The uneasiness of my stomach while swaying tens of feet from the ground on the Texas Giant petrified the adventurous spirit out of me. However, I did not realize that moment `would shape the next eight years of life, emerging in my memory at every unfamiliar experience I faced. It was my senior year when I declined an invitation to go camping with my friends an epiphany struck me. How many of these opportunities was I going to skip out on due to my reluctant manner?…

Today is the day! Today, I go experience the Knott’s Berry Farm for myself. I couldn’t wait to ride the rides, so when my uncle got here I raced into his car and off we went to the Knott’s Berry Farm. When we arrived, we immediately decided to aim for finishing all the rides. Most of the lines for the rides were very intimidating. To the point where we were questioning ourselves will this really be worth it? Most of the rides we waited in had a queue of 1 to 2 hours but the rides were definitely worth it even if they were just 1 to 2 minutes. In return for the queue, the rides always kept me occupies with the accelerations, drops, and loops! All the waiting, loops, and drops without food was starting to take affect and I was getting hungry…

It was just a boring day in my hometown, a traditional, weak entrance a lot of narrative stories use to try to get the attention of the readers. This story, however, isn’t one of those traditional stories; this one involves a day that had been exciting up to that point already. The memory that resonates daily throughout my mind would have to be the time when I went to Six Flags for the first time in my life. Before I jump into my story, I should tell you my friends mess with each other a lot, almost to the point where we get into fights with each other.…

When I turned fourteen, I had a long talk with my parents about my big day only being a year away and how we needed to start with all of the preparations. The first thing I look for was my dress. In my vision, it was the most beautiful, shiny, and spongy dress. I wanted to be a princess for a day. One day after school my older sister, Carolina, had a magazine with prom dresses in it. Since she was a senior, she was on the looking for a dress too. As we saw the magazine, we found a lot of pretty dresses and told my mom to take us shopping, so that Carolina could try some on. As we arrived to the store "Glitz and Glamour", we found out they sold quinceañera dresses as well. My mom asked the employee to bring us some quinceañera dress magazines, while Caro and I watched the magazines for prom dresses. Suddenly, I stumbled upon a beautiful, green, shiny dress. It was perfect. As soon as I saw it, I said, "Mom, I want this dress for my quinceañera." We told the lady that I wanted the dress and she explained that it was available in pink and green. Since I had fallen in love with the color, I told my mom I wanted it in green, but since the tradition is pink, it was obvious that my mom was going to say no. I disagreed with my mom and ordered it green. The lady told us that my dress would arrive in four days. I was…

I hit my forehead on the bottom protruding edge of my dark brown leather couch. Out of all the places to hit my head, I clumsily managed to hit it on a piece of furniture so close to the ground. This unusual accident was only possible because I was lying completely flat on my stomach on the cold hardwood floor, reaching out for a black, unidentifiable object under the couch. I was sprawled out on the floor reaching for random objects for one reason only: to clean.…

I love Disney princesses. They were always fun and adventurous. I had one problem though, none of them ever looked like me. Several of them looked like my friends, but not me. When my mom showed me The Princess and the Frog, I immediately fell in love with Princess Tiana. I admire Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog because she is hard-working, loyal, and determined.…

When I got on the CTT Bus I couldn’t wait- it would be my first time on the goliath. “Last stop everyone off” yelled the bus driver. When I got off I mentioned to my sister “This does not look like Six Flags” “I think we missed our stop and we are lost “she answered. I started to look for any thing I noticed. But all I saw was two large buildings and lots of people.…

When I was younger I went with my best friend Macy to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. I had already been down in Florida when we met up. I got there around two days before her and I was visiting my grandparents and going to Walt Disney World for Fourth of July. Sadly, we were only going to Universal Studios for one day. When we arrived at the park we were so excited. We jumped on as many rides with small lines as we could since we got there early. Our first ride was on Harry Potter, and it was the worst one. They shoved you onto the ride since it was moving. There wasn't enough room for the ride with our parents for both of us. They tried to put me onto it but I wasn't leaving her. So they got irritated but I didn't care. In the end of…

When I was a little girl I would dream about my wedding day. I would pick out what colors I wanted. I had to have almost everything be pink because it was my favorite color. I used to even play dress up with all of my younger sisters. I would always have to be the princess, and they could dress up as anything else. I had a special white fluffy dress that my mother had made me for Halloween. No one was allowed to wear it but me. I would always say my wedding day would be the happiest day of my life. I wanted to feel like a princess, and could not wait until my Prince Charming would come and take me away.…

After we left the beach, we went straight to the hotel to sleep. In the morning, we woke up early and went to Disneyland. We got there before the rush of people. The morning was cold, but I was so excited that I didn't really notice. As we stood in line, I couldn't wait, didn't want to. I stood in line applying my sunscreen, and wishing that the line of screaming children would move faster, so I could be the screaming child at the amusement park. We finally got to the front of the line; I squealed like a little girl. All I could think was, "what are we going to ride first? Which character would be my…

On the day of my thirteenth birthday, I was really excited since I was going to an amusement park for the first time in my life. So me and some of my friends I had invited, got into the car with my mom and dad, ready to have the time of our lives at the amusement park. On reaching the park, we bought tickets for everyone and entered the park. The only fitting description for it was “amazing”. I was really spellbound. Everywhere people were moving excitedly from one ride to another, funny music drifted to our ears along with the screams of laughter from every direction, people dressed up like clowns were entertaining the kids, and the most exciting was the rollercoaster, it looped in and out of nowhere and ran up and down and spun around in a crazy manner. My parents handed me some money and told us to enjoy the rides. We first queued up for the roller coaster, which was the greatest attraction of all. Soon we were seated on the ride and held on to the bars holding us firmly to our seats. The next ten minutes was a blur of screams, the wind whizzing through our hair, laughter and tightly closed eyes. We descended with shaky knees and dizzy heads, but with faces full of broad grins and adrenaline pulsing through our body. We headed straight for the bumper cars and soon started bumping into each other with as much force as we could, enjoying ourselves thoroughly. Then we went for those shooting games in which you get a prize if you hit the target. Ready to show our shooting skills, we were soon loaded with video game prizes and some soft toys which didn’t make us happy since the age for playing with soft toys was long gone for us. Still, we took them since we had won them. Then came the most scary part, The Freaky House. Rumors had it that once you entered it, you never came out the same. So, being thirteen year old teenagers, and claiming not to be afraid of anything we entered the house with heads held high, but came out of it with…
