I can still remember my first day as a coach as if it was yesterday, when I stood up in the middle of the field; I was surrounded by complete strangers. I did not know if they would accept me as there coach and if they will follow my commands but there was only one way to find out. I have known people that had weaker soccer skills than some of these young boys and still got a scholarship in universities in the United States. These opportunities should be equal to everyone and not be based on the place you were born. I sat and talked with my professor about this and told him that I wanted to help these children fulfill their dreams and abandon poverty. He told me that these issues have always existed and there is no solution for these unless you have a good position in politics.
