Personal Narrative: My Reflection Of My Writing

Beginning at the end of 9th grade to the middle of 11th I could not stop writing. Everything from conversations at the dinner table to dreams in the middle of the night inspired me. At the start of the second semester of 11th grade, however, I started writing less and hated everything that came on the page. As an attempt to inspire myself I read through 600 conversations, stories, and story ideas I had written from that period. Amazed by the beautiful sentences I had written, but I tried to understand what had happened within those few months. I realized that that period in my life was before the stress of college applications when my life was just me, my courses, and my writing.
