Personal Narrative: My Trip To Panama City
I’ve been in various large cities, such as Indianapolis, Atlanta, Panama City, Chicago, and San Diego. The architecture around there is marvelous and eye catching. I have a huge interest/passion in architecture and design. Being able to be apart of the beautiful creation of buildings, would be phenomenal. The one travel experience that changed my view of the world would be my trip to Panama City.

It was the the summer of 2016, when my family decided to take a trip down to Panama City, Florida. I was stoked when I heard the news from my parents. I have always admired the building structures and commercial area around the florida area. I knew since florida was a big state, that there would be eye popping architectural, and was I correct. I could not stop taking pictures of the beautiful building. Most people do not appreciate the hard work that goes into

I am willing to put in the work it takes to create or design structures to keep our world looking beautiful and make people appreciate the hard work the architectures do for us. I am very intrigued in the construction process: I would most often take pictures to memorizes the beauty of it. Most of the building would start off with wall studs connecting them with the top plate and sole plate, having window opening with the header and sill to make the window visible.

Ever since the travel experience, the travel has influenced my decision to pursue a career in architecture and design tremendously I now value even more of the work architecture. I mean I already respect the work and design of them, because without them our building would be plain and simple , and maybe no buildings at all. I would be ecstatic, if i got the opportunity to pursue a career in design. Florida has did me well and inspired me even more to reach the level as all the other professional architects and

Throughout many centuries, architects have argued about whether a building should be created in a rational or in a sensory way. The architects who believed in rational beauty did buildings with an order. They used shapes to create their buildings. This building reflected the structures of Ancient Greece and Rome. On the other hand, architects who believed in sensory beauty designed visually attractive structures. These buildings reflected back to the Middle Ages. I believe that the Colorado State Capitol building is beautiful because of the way it shows the values of a rational architect. The architects who designed this building created a sense of beauty by making all its parts communicate and by its symmetry. Last of all this building expresses the values of power, democracy and sophistication.…

The project that I chose is a very unique American house called Falling Water. Falling Water is built over the top of a waterfall, and is suggested to be the most well-known private house in America not belonging to someone of royal blood (Storrer, 2002). I would love to visit this house as I like waterfalls and I think the way this house has incorporated the waterfall into its design is fascinating. The house was designed by a famous American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, in 1935 for the Kaufmann family. The house was completed in 1939 and covered an impressive 5330 square feet and the additional guest house was an additional 1700 square feet.…

People need places to live, work, play, learn, worship, meet, govern, shop, and eat. Architects, which transform these needs into concepts and then develop the concepts into building images and plans that can be constructed by others, are licensed professionals trained in the art and science of building design. Architecture interests me the most because it gives me the ability to express my imagination.…

In order for architecture to capture you, impact you, or make you think, you can't be looking at a picture. For it is a photograph that would be capture you. Architecture is also the space that you are in, and that is what impacts you. If you are just looking at a picture, you can be impacted, but not by the architecture. To be captivated by architecture you must be in the place. The Internal Buddhist Temple is not allowed to be photographed for the same reason of architecture, and also for reasons of spirituality as it is wrong to disrespect the symbolism used in the architecture. Taking a picture lends the photograph to being…

The second reason why I advocate this point of view lies in that New York City has beautiful and great tall buildings, skyscrapers and bridges. One of these unique places is The Empire State Building, It has over 100 stories with height nearly 450 meters and its name is derived from nickname for New York City, the Empire State. New York City has more than 2000 bridges and tunnels like the Brooklin Bridge, which is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States, and the George Washington Bridge. Visiting all these structures is really useful and wonderful for me because i am a structural engineer and my biggest goal is being a big structural designer. Finally, I can go to visit parks like Central Park at Manhattan and museums like the Museum of Natural History, where among other things, there are real dinosaur bones.…

Throughout my life I want have the chance to travel to the places I have wanted to go to. The first place that I would want to travel to is New York. I would like to go to New York City. I have never been there, but I have heard so many good things about that place. I would like to go to college out there, but I don't think that is going to happen. Some reasons why I want to go there is because I want to see the Statue of Liberty, in person. Someday I would like to move there. I think that one of the main reasons why I want to go to college, and someday move there, is because I want to get away from the desert life, and experiment with a new life style. Another reason why I want to move there is because I am the kind of person, who always wants to be on the go, and always doing something. Also because I am the kind of person who likes the city life, and I like to be around people.…
