Personal Narrative: My Younger Brother's Football Games
The last few weeks I went to my younger brother’s football games, and for a while now I notice parents always seem to get a lot more excited and in some ways crazy during the games.
Before I started taking down notes and really paying close attention to the parent’s behaviors during the games it just seemed like parents cheering for their kids and at times rude behavior.
Once I started to really pay attention I realized that a lot more was going on behind the scenes of the games than anyone could realize.

At a baseball game it is considered good to yell out bad things at the away team, you usually do this with other fans which you most of the time do not know, you also scream with fellow fans when your team does a good thing, whether they score or someone just made a spectacular web gem. All of this is in good fun and the fact that you are able to share all this with random strangers is amazing, because a lot of times people do not like to step out of their comfort zone and talk to new people, but at a ball game you are able to do that no matter what kind of person you are. Through the game people are able to step out of their comfort zone and meet new people and interact with people they have never met before. Although if your team is the away team be careful because some fans really hate the other team and sometimes do crazy things.…

It all started at ninth street with some friends of mine John and I started recruiting some people to come play football with us. I honestly didn’t know I had a pretty decent arm. I originally was going to start practicing to play wide receiver instead of quarterback. At the time Odell Beckham Jr. ( wide receiver for the New York Giants ) was extremely explosive and dynamic on offense. Seeing him blow up on offense made me want to try out for wide receiver. But somehow John convinced me to play quarterback.…

Coach Smith was off his seat and sweating a lot. Coach Smith is a big, bald, and a tall man. The team was down by two, they had the ball. Seven seconds left, the clock was ticking. Two seconds left Randy, had shot the ball at the three point line. Randy is a hairy chimpanzee that loves to play basketball. There was no time left on the clock. When suddenly, the gymnasium was left in complete darkness, just before if everybody saw if the shot was good or not. When the lights turned backed on Randy was gone. Everybody was looking for him. All that was left was Randy’s hair…

By being told to quit something just because I’m not good at it. Back in my 7th grade year when I played football, I was pretty atrocious at everything basically. Trying to run routes against corners, catching, and trying to stay at 110%. I used to play Wide Receiver but they made me change positions because I didn’t try hard enough. They moved me to o-line and I was probably one of the worst players on the team. I only started one game my middle school life as a guard and all I really did was get embarrassed. Missing blocks, not pulling to get the DE, and forgetting the snap count. I didn't play football my 8th grade and my freshman year because my parents said that allergy season was gonna be awful. I was so close to not playing this year,…

Good Evening Mr. Forrest, this is Sean Anderson. I wanted to send this report involving the girl's basketball coach from Northeast Middle School. Me and Jason Collins were the officials at West Creek Middle School vs Northeast Middle School. The games started at 4:45. During the second game, which was the girl's basketball game, my partner Jason Collins made a ruling against Northeast in the 4th quarter. The girl's head coach did not like the ruling and venting her frustrations toward us. She screamed" her player was not there for the foul". While I was administering the free throws I heard her screaming and gave her the stop sign signal and told her ok that's enough. I didn't administer no technical foul even though she continue…
