Personal Narrative-The Walking Dead
So there I was with my roommate two days earlier in the afternoon in the afternoon watching The Walking Dead. Afterwards, all of the sudden my roommate had the most craziest question “what if this really happens really? and then I responded to her “this could never happen” with a laugh. I was a realistic person, what could I say. Then at night, while laying down I started to think “this could never happen in million years. Then I started to laugh “that is stupid, there is just no way”. Afterwards I fell asleep. All of the sudden around midnight, I started hearing loud screams and I started to panic. Once I open my lids, I finally realized that it was coming from my roommate. I was a bit frightening because she looked so pale compared to her original skin color. And maybe I thought that she has seen a ghost because I have never seen her like that before in my entire life. That is when …show more content…
Therefore, the only way to survive this Zombie Apocalypse was to travel all the way to the nearest costco, which was located a few 20 miles away from my apartment complex. Since they had resource to stay alive longer and shelter, rather than stay here at my apartment and be eaten by a bunch of zombies anything now. So I and my roommate decided that the best way to get there was to travel during the day than night. It was safer to travel during daylight since we were able to see danger rather than get surprise by a Zombie during the night. In order to do that we needed to find a transportation. My only transportation at this time is my roommates car which was parked in the other side of the apartment. Since it had full tank there was no worry about the fuel right at the moment. So I and my roommate started packing our backpack with leftover foods, drinks and weapons. My only stress was stepping out of the apartment with all those zombies lurking around and attacking

The apocalypse is upon us. A zombie infestation runs rampant, and the city of Elgin, home to Judson University, is a hotspot of activity. With all society broken down, hope of rescue uncertain, those attending that particular University, both student and faculty, must band together to successfully survive this otherworldly ordeal. As it is, however, on campus, chaos has already ensued. Inter-communal violence has already taken place between several student cliques, many have been left without proper food or supplies. The community is a tumult of disorder and hysteria. Currently no one is able to safely leave campus, at least not in large groups, as there is too great a zombie threat outside campus boundaries. Fortunately for ourselves, there is an end in sight. according to that seen on The Walking Dead, based on the research of Matthew Patrick in his YouTube video, “Film Theory: How The Walking Dead will END!” These zombies will only have a life span of just over two years, due to the fact that, after such a period, their bodies will have reached the decomposition stage of black putrefaction; resulting in their insides melting, leaving them without a brain, and thus cognitive function. As it is, no lives…

I was in at Save-A-Lot a couple of weeks ago and while I was in line to check out, I overheard a lady talk about a man that was following her on the walking path behind my house. She was talking about how this man would follow her for a couple hundred feet then stop, completely strip down, and would start performing sexual acts on himself. She said that she doesn’t feel comfortable walking on the walking path anymore. We need to take action to stop these things from happening and make the walking path safer.…

The initial chaos of the emergency lasted merely an hour. Saline fluid filled my veins and computerized tomography scans sliced coronal views of my brain. I tried to relieve my anxiety by pretending that I was on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy- a director would call cut, the fear would subside, and the scene would end. I did not understand that I was facing a serious medical emergency that the doctors could not solve. I tried to muster the strength to move my lower extremities. My focus moved from the doctors’ confused faces to the people who stood in front of me. My family, gripping the spooks of the bed, reminded me that I should not compare the situation to an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. I realized that a director would not conclude the day with an oration on the success of our TV segment. Rather, a neurosurgeon would come in the room and tell me that I possibly had a stroke and that I had severe head trauma in the form of a concussion.…

I always keep this poem and picture in my wallet. I take it everywhere with me because it means quite a lot to me in two very different ways. One of those ways is because it holds sentimental value. When I was younger I learned to read very late in life and I was always so embarrassed of that. My father knew that I was struggling and bought me the book, Where the Sidewalk Ends. It is a book full of poems and little pictures written by Shel Silverstein. I remember opening the book to ta random page, and it was the page with this poem. I then remember my dad asking me to read it to him. I was so uncomfortable, even thought I was just going to be reading to my dad. He gave me some words of encouragement, and even thought I was not able to read…

I think The Walking Dead is the best show and it should be playing everyday. I have the right to say this with my freedom of speech and countries have different rights. The rights I have are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The government should have absolute power to protect those rights, and if they don’t, then everything will crash.…

Starting from a place I remembered as a teen, moving from a place that was warm to a place that had all four seasons; such as winter, spring, summer and fall. The First place that I grew up was surrounded by mountains. During the winter it was full of white snow, something that I was never used to seeing coming from California where all one would see was sandy beaches and the waves clasping one another. As I remember being so new to Park City, UT all I could see was the wonderful views of trees, mountains and people skiing or snowboarding. I have to say this was a fond memory because for the firs time I was actually able to experience the feeling of what winter was…

The summer before fifth grade, I knew what I wanted to do when I grow up. Now, I didn't have all the details of how I would get there or if I will ever get to that point, but I was optimistic that I would one day be part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). I know some may ask how could I possibly know what I wanted to do with the rest of my life at ten years old, but I knew that it something that I was interested in. Throughout the years, that dream has never changed.…

The tradition that I can count on happening at least once a day is a mean joke between my stepmom, dad, and siblings. Whenever someone asks for something, you reply with, “no” wait a few seconds then give it to them. This is usually a dinner thing, but it can be any time. It has been a thing that my family does since I can remember. But it’s a fun thing we do, and it makes everyone laugh. If one of us hasn’t laughed all day participating in this tradition is a sure fire way to laugh a little…
