In order to accurately describe myself, I need to relate my personal learning style—described best with the letters ENFP, also known as the campaigner—with a significant personal experience in my life. The personal experience that I endured should create an meaningful explanation for my personality type. For six (6) years of my life, I was a very passionate cheerleader. I completed four (4) years during my high school career and two (2) years during my time spent in middle school. During my senior year of high school, I was chosen as the Jeannette High School Cheerleading Captain. After receiving the personal learning style of ENFP (Extraversion, Intuition, Feeling, and Perception) and the assignment for this essay, I immediately thought of…
The story I told my partner was about a volleyball game. We were playing the Escanaba High School Varsity team. We were leading the first match 20-24 and ended up losing 26-24. Our coach was extremely disappointed in us. However, we pulled ourselves together and fought to win the next three sets. Each set was as close ass the last but we worked through everything. We played hard and left every play we had on the court. We ended up winning the game.…
Now if you’ll excuse me, i’m taking your man, and later the title of ‘cheer captain’” I grabbed Isaac's hand and turned away from her walking to the tops of the bleachers. “You’re a fiery little thing aren't you?” He laughed and laid his arm around my shoulders. Asriel looked up at us and stared, as I smiled and grabbed his hand making sure she could see. “You know, she's always jealous. Even when no one does anything wrong. It drives me insane.” he frowned a bit and i felt my heart drop. “You should change that Isaac, you’re handsome, so smart, athletic and funny. You deserve so much more. She’s a witch, to you and everyone else.” I turned to look at him and he was already staring at me. “I- i’m sorry if i offended you Isac, it’s ju-” He cut…
As far as I can remember I might have been about 4 or 5 at the time and my mother registered us I mean herself and me in a gym for ding exercises in different sport majors . My mother had aerobic class and I joined gymnastic class with other girls in my age and I had a nice dress for it with a pale pink color with an veil skirt. I had a friend there who her name is Mozhde and our characters were really far from each other . We were always fighting together because of her arrogance . Although I was totally kind and humble she was proud and rough.…

At a normal summer camp, a few dozen fifteen-year-old girls wouldn’t be told to spend a night alone in the woods. Camp Cheerio isn’t a normal summer camp. I’ve been going to Camp Cheerio every summer since I was eight years old, and I’ve loved every second of being there. The summer before sophomore year of high school was the last year that I could be a camper. Part of being in your last year as a camper is doing CREW. The acronym “CREW” stands for Courage, Responsibility, Enthusiasm, and Worth. In CREW all of the last year campers do things such as team building, being a counselor for a day, hiking eleven miles to and from Stone Mountain, and more. However, the most significant part of CREW was doing Solo Night. During Solo Night, each…
I have had multiple experiences with being on a team. For over a year I have played with a group of friendly people on a Minecraft server and have worked as a team building with this team / group of friends. I have learned a lot from them and I have offered them a lot of advice too. I am very skilled in working in teams as I have played with one for a long…
It was a frigid, windy, Friday night in October. The only light was the bright and beaming illumination of the stadium lights projecting over the soccer field. The bleachers were full, it seemed as if the whole school was there, and as a freshman with anxiety, it made it hard to cope with the fact, that I was going to be a starter for the varsity soccer team.…
In the early days of July of 2016 I was getting ready for soccer tryouts at Union High School. I was running every day in the morning and at night and I was also working on all of my ball skills at the high school during the afternoon with my two friends that I ran with everyday.…
Most people say cheerleading is not a sport, but to me it is. It all began when I was four years old and my mom signed me up to cheer for the Harrisburg Packers. I was nervous at first, but then it turned out to be a lot of fun. Everyone on the team was tall except for me and one other girl. Her name was Tatum. The first thing I thought was that I was going to get picked on by all the other girls because I was so little and shy, but it turned out to be totally different.…
When I was in second grade I learned that I loved competing with people and being good at things. I joined a gymnastics gym near my house in second grade when i was 9, and started competing when i was 10. My mom told me that I have to do well in school if I was going to be focused on a sport along with school, or she would take me out of gymnastics. Soon enough, I wasn’t doing so well in social studies and comm skills. I was scared my mom would make me quit, But I worked as hard as I could so get back up there. Focusing more on school than outside activities, I got that grade back up and I continued with my favorite sport. I love gymnastics, but I don’t let it get in the way of school because school always comes first.…
There are good decisions and there are bad decisions, it is up to the person deciding to debate on which side of the line their decision falls on. It just so happens, the choice I made in 2013 was one of the best, most important decisions in my entire life. In the spring of my sophomore year, I decided that I wanted to try out for competitive cheerleading. The question here is, “how did cheerleading change my life?” Well, thinking back to that year, I was in a dark place and I could not find hope anywhere, no matter how hard I searched. In the time spent cheering I found confidence, my best friend, and a reason to live.…

Whenever I think back to highschool I am always reminded of the fun times I had playing sports. The friendships I built and diciplines I learned still affect my life today. Playing volleyball helped me learn good time management skills especially when I started playing for the local club team. The highschool team was demanding but when club season started that became your life. School, practice, homework, sleep was my weekday schedule. The weekend tournaments didn’t allow for much of a break either. A minimum of 4 matches and if you won the bracket, you could expect atleast 2 more. Putting in hard work and dedicating countless hours wasn’t all for nothing though.…
At the Sombrilla, there were tents set up from various organizations to get people hyped for the Homecoming football game that Saturday. Everyone was comradely, there were free giveaways, and laughter was in the air. There was an inflatable game/obstacle course set up by one of the student organizations. Everything had a positive effect on my mood and it felt nostalgic and hopeful. Friends were congregating together, there was a group of slackers walking a tight-rope, a girl swinging on a swing, and people lying on the grass. Overall, there was a relaxed vibe going around that was contagious. Music was playing and there seemed to be a buzz in the air for the Homecoming game. I admit I was more excited about going to the football game after…
