Personal Narrative: Why Did I Go To College
Now looking back at it, I understand the kids had other things to worry about than making friends with the new girl in class. College and moving on into adulthood was just around the corner for a lot of people. A time to grow up and start making some important life decisions. Did I plan on going to college? Absolutely! Although, unfortunately the money wasn't there for it and my family needed me during a tough period after I had graduated.

About a month after I received my diploma, my mother broke the news to me that her and my step father were getting a divorce. This was something I definitely did not see coming. She explained why and I eventually started to grasp why we moved to Florida in the first place. The new start for me, was also
