Personal Statement: My Passion For Healthcare
My passion for healthcare started when my younger sister was diagnosed with cancer at age twelve. I spent a lot of time with her at the hospital where she was being treated. Being around that environment and seeing the impact that that nursing staff made on not only my sister and my family, but all the other patients around us sparked my interest in becoming a nurse at the young age of sixteen.
I grew up in a Christian home and personally have a strong relationship with Christ. I have always wanted my career to be Christ centered and be able to serve him and also do what I am most passionate about, which is helping people.
