Should I enroll my child in Day-care? Like many controversial questions, there are no right or wrong answers. In our society, there is a tendency for both parents to work during parenthood. As a result, parents are enrolling their children in the day-care and pursuing their education and or careers. This is an ongoing debate because parents want to know if day-care is good or bad for their child. There are many studies conducted into the effects of children in day-care and out of day-care. In many instances, the studies are different because no two children are identical within their character or have the same home or day-care environment. Day-care can provide children with the early-childhood development and teach them how to excel in a school environment, as well as promote a healthy sense of well-being. Day-care assist parents in adapting to the fast changing of society by giving them the freedom to pursue their careers and education, while also caring for a family. However, the best way to take advantage of the full benefits of day-care is by finding the balance between family and career. Parents who contribute in their child’s education and spend quality time for their child save more than careers. Positive outcome develops when the day-care program is a high-quality care center, and the family is supportive of the child’s development. Every family must decide first what they can afford and then weigh the options to provide the best care available to them.
