Mr. Robins is the ABC Inc.’s new campus Recruiter who has been on-the-job for approximately six months. In April Ms. Carrolls, the operations supervisor tasked Mr. Robins with hiring her 15 new trainees and set up orientation for them. Mr. Robins successfully hired all 15 trainees and scheduled orientations for the new trainees on June 15. On May 15 Ms. Carrolls contacted Mr. Robins because she was concerned about several issues and if these issues would be resolved before orientation. Mr. Robins ensured Ms. Carrolls that the issues will be resolved.…
Carl Robins, who is a new recruiter for ABC Inc., hired 15 new trainees with the intention to have them start on June 15th. As the start date gets closer, Carl discovers that all the trainees are not prepared to start their employment. Most of them do not have all the paperwork required for employment and none of them have visited the clinic for their mandatory drug screening. Carl needs to contact the new recruits immediately so they can complete all the prerequisites for employment. Also, Carl needs to get in contact with someone for more training on the applicant hire and training process.…
Once Carl hired the new trainees, he needs to prepare a time schedule and checklist for each trainee. Carl should have made sure the applications were complete along with the transcripts. Carl should have completed each file alphabetically. Yet Carl failed to inspect the applications and transcripts to verify the information was correct and complete. Carl should have contacted the trainees to make sure they went to the clinic for their mandatory drug tests and physicals within ten business days of the hire date. As the new campus recruiter, Carl should have communicated with the new hires throughout the process of finalizing their paperwork for employment. The moment he hired the trainees, the training room should have been reserved for the orientation in June. New orientation manuals and policy booklets should have been ordered for the fifteen new…
The group will be responsible for getting any missing information to Carl by the deadline date. This includes incomplete or missing applications, missing transcripts and the mandatory drug screening reports. Failure to do so may affect their future employment or delay their start date. Let the new hires also know when and where the orientation will take place after verifying that the training lab is available in July. Carl must follow-up daily with the new hires as to the status of their paperwork. He must prepare to contact additional new hire candidates in the event that some of the current group fails to comply.…
While there is no “start date” listed for this change, I am suggesting that it start tomorrow (7/14) with Dayshift being that I didn’t get it out until after Swing shift started today. It would not make sense for Graves to start it tonight without Swing shift having an opportunity to discuss it first. This was the same suggestion that I gave the dispatch staff.…

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion. There are many factors to PTSD, which affects others in different ways; or example, using video games to keep them occupied, spending money due to the lack of impulse control because of changes in their brain, and even not obtaining another job.…
Attention Getter: I would like to start my presentation off by telling you all to ask yourselves a series of fairly straight forward questions. I want you to take a look at you’re, any hand and ask your selves “Who’s hand is this?” Do the same with your other hand, and now both legs and your arms if you would like. If I am not mistaking the answer to all your questions are mine right. They are your hands, legs, and arms. What I am trying to get through to you all today is that your body is your body and that a person should be able to profit of his or her own body if done in a safe and controlled way.…
